| One head of Neurotron, André Kronert was born in 1978 in Germany. He is a sound and light engineer and he is working with strongly handicapped people in institutions for the disabled. André Kronert has been on and off the turntables for over 13 years. His roots go back to school in the year 1994/1995, spinning Acid-House with two very old turntables and a little mixer with batteries. In 1995 Andre started to work as DJ Phrase and played all over Germany. Later he changed the sound and his name - André Kronert was born. He brought the self-made sound to the dance floors outside the live acts of Neurotron. In 2003 he started his own label group Night Drive Music. In 2006 Neurotron got nominee on Qwartz electronic music award in Paris as best electronic music artist. Today there are 5 labels which belong to Night Drive Music well known for their deep and dancable tunes. André organized many parties and wonderful moments with the whole crew around him. His favorite styles vary between all kinds of deep Techno/House/Dub and kicking minimalism, always with his own way spinning the records. Regardless of what style André Kronert is spinning, you can be sure to hear an excellent set. His love for music is reflected by his audience and he enjoys seeing full dance floors. |
